Computes the number density of the individual species in the high-altitude region.
A uniform altitude grid is generated and used for the computation of the integral as well as for the computation of the number densities of the individual species. This gridded data is then interpolated at the query
altitudesusing a linear interpolation scheme in logarithmic space.
altitudes (array-like) – Altitude value(s) [km].
ndarray– Number densities of the individual species and total number density at the given altitudes [m^-3]. The number densities of the individual species are stored in a single 2-D array where the first dimension is the gas species and the second dimension is the altitude.
