Computes the velocity term of a given species in the high-altitude region.

Parameters:

  • species (str) – Species.

  • grid (array) – Altitude grid [km].

Returns:

array – Values of the velocity terms [km^-1].

Notes

Not valid for atomic oxygen. See velocity_term_atomic_oxygen()
